Together We Can Be More!
I sat down recently with Nike Master Trainer Eva Redpath (her website HERE major fitspo) to discuss fitness workout partners.
WHAT IS A WORKOUT PARTNER?:
“There are three types. A buddy – A friend and/or colleague. The group system – A class or training team. Your actual partner – Husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend”.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A WORKOUT PARTNER?
“Someone to share in the same fitness goals, that are reliable and have similar schedules as you.”
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
“They are the ultimate coach, teammate and cheerleader. When you are committing to a routine with a partner you are less likely to throw in the towel.”
Eva then added “Every fitness journey has its highs and lows and working out with your partner can be credited for sticking with a program.”
I am blessed to say I have all three types of workout partners but my most cherished partner is my husband. I truly believe it keeps us bonded and is the best kind of quality time. Plus lets face it when you look good you feel good and that translates into everything!
