Living my #HBdenimgoals

Yesterday I went shopping at The Bay for my perfect pair of denim! I had so much fun trying on all the different brands and styles. The Bay is a great destination for all your denim needs, if you are in the market for a new pair it’s the perfect place to go with so many brands and cuts to choose from.

Finding the perfect pair of jeans is no east feat. I wanted to share a few tips to help when looking for a new pair.

TIP ONE – DON’T BE SCARED OF THE FITTING ROOM

How are you going to find your new favourite pair if you don’t try them on?? Try on a lot and ask the sales ladies for recommendations. I know it feels frustrating when nothing seems to be working but keep going because the right one will eventually happen.

TIP TWO – FUCK YOUR SIZE

Too often ladies get caught up in the size of their pants. Different brands fit differently. Buy the pair that fits you and don’t focus on what size is written on the tag.

TIP THREE – ROCK WHAT CHA MAMA GAVE YA

Ignore the trends if it doesn’t work for your body. Buy the cut that flatters your figure.

OK!!! With all that being said lets start shopping!!

Levis ReDone Jeans – I love the vintage 90s vibe and that every pair is unique but I really like my jeans to have stretch and these do not.

High Rise Distressed Se7en Jeans – I really liked these ones. Very soft, stretchy and on the thinner side material wise.

High Rise Paige Jeans – I loved these ones. They were stretchy but still thick and so I felt they sucked in the right areas. These were a close second.

AG Distressed Skinny Jeans – These were the stretchiest and thinnest of them all and felt like jeggings.

Current Elliott Boyfriend Jeans – These jeans are perfect! I can see myself going back for these puppies. The cut was the right amount of baggy, the material was thick but not too thick and they had a little stretch.

Mih High Rise Jeans – To be honest I had never heard of this brand before but the cut was great and they were super stretchy. The material was the thickest denim I tried which I feel people would either love or hate.

High Rise J Brand Flares – I am still on the fence about flare jeans returning. If I wanted a pair these would be it. Thinner material and very stretchy plus they seemed to hug my bottom very nicely.

J Brand Cargo Pants – I fell in love with these too. Medium weight, super soft and stretchy. Perfect fall pants.

Citizens Of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans –  I love them. They seemed to fit my curves the best and hit all of my three must haves – stretch, medium weight and a higher rise.

Citizens Of Humanity Liya Jeans – These had a vintage 90s vibe that I loved! But no stretch womp womp.
