Last week I had the pleasure of going to a very cool event in one of the most unique spaces I have seen in Toronto. Held at the Darling Mansion a select group of exclusive bloggers sipped on delicious Apothic Wines . Décor included dark lighting, candelabras, potion bottles and a wall of vines and roses reminiscent of a midnight garden inspired by Apotheca. See my photo highlights below.
Each room had a gothic dreamy feel and all I could keep thinking was “when can I shoot a music video here??” We drank, we mingled, we indulged on yummy appetizers, played truth or dare and even squeezed in a special photoshoot for The Kit.
The rose wall was a cool touch unique to the Apothic Wine event. The wines are very nice with a very affordable price point of under 20 dollars. I personally like white wines and I love this white, it has a beautiful vanilla note. They are available at your local Liquor store in Canada. Apothic on the LCBO website – HERE

THE APOTHIC ORIGIN
Inspired by “Apotheca,” a mysterious place where wine was blended and stored in 13th century Europe, the wines of Apothic are truly unique in style and taste.
Our winemaker, Debbie Juergenson, crafts bold, captivating Apothic blends by using only the most distinctive California grapes. From vintage to vintage, the character and flavor of the individual varietals guide the shape of each blend.
To craft Apothic wines, Debbie looks for a unique blend of grapes to create intense aromas and bold flavors. Each vintage, she lets the grapes guide the way from the vine to the cellar, crafting a collection of unforgettable wines, including Apothic Red, White, Dark, Crush and a limited selection of seasonal releases.
“I strive to tell a story with each blend of Apothic,” Debbie explains. “Whether it’s one of drama, intrigue or romance, the wines of Apothic are truly original.”
I will be having Darling Mansion and Apothic wine dreams for awhile!
