I love when brands collab with local artists and give back on top of it. Microsoft has partnered with three Toronto-based creatives who have used technology to build inclusive communities. These 3 artists have created limited-edition designs on Surface with the proceeds supporting Rainbow Railroad. Peep the pics below for the scoop on the limited-edition swag and the artist’s themselves.
MAGICAL MINI BACKPACK
Hayley Elsaesser, Fashion Designer
Hayley Elsaesser is known for more than her bold prints, which have won her acclaim from both celebrities and “fashion freaks” alike. Her focus on body positivity, safe spaces and inclusion in the fashion industry continues to drive significant change with her fans.
To celebrate her collaboration with Microsoft, Hayley designed a new take on her signature Mouthy print on Surface to create a rebellious backpack that embraces the uniqueness of her fans.

POP ART LAPTOP STICKERS
Maria Qamar, Digital Artist
Maria started Hatecopy on a Surface in 2015 – largely to make her friends laugh. Now, an international recognized artist, her desi pop art style clashes against societal norms to challenge and question the status quo.
The “Hatecopy Zabardast Sticker Pack” is a selection of some of Maria’s favourite creations (with new additions) to add a splash of colour anywhere you stick them.

CUTEST TOAST HOODIE
Stef Sanjati, LGBTQ Activist
Growing up, Stef craved honest representation of herself in the media and online. She saw a gap so turned to the internet to broadcast her voice and help people embrace their inner and outer selves.
As a maternal figure online, Stef is lovingly referred to as Bread Mom – with bread representing the comforts of home she embraces. Using Surface, Stef designed a nostalgic #BREADSQUAD hoodie that “just wants you to be happy!”
