It is so easy to forgot how big and beautiful our country is!! I have made it a rule this summer to explore Ontario more!! On one of my extensive google searches of fun things to do close to Toronto I stumbled on this cute apple winery with great reviews. Archibald Orchards & Estate Winery is a fourth generation family farm located 12km north of Hwy. # 401 in Bowmanville, Ontario.

Upon arrival you get to sample 4 wines and they were all deelish! We opted to take home a bottle of the macintosh wine and a hard cider. They also host fun weekend festivals. We will most definitely be back.
